Stampin’ Up! Pretty Peacock – AWH Colour Creations Showcase Week 37

This week I am super excited to join the Art With Heart Colour Creations showcase for the first time!  This is a weekly event that allows various team members the opportunity to show their stunning creations using a nominated Stampin' Up! colour for that week. And this week it is: Pretty Peacock.

I have made 2 cards and a notecard to showcase the A Touch of Ink photopolymer stamp set. This set is FREE with a qualifying purchase as part of Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration promotion. But you better be quick as the promotion will end on 28 February 2021 - so only a few days left!

For my first card, the inks used are Pretty Peacock for the butterfly and sentiment and Calypso Coral for the flower petals stamped on Whisper White cardstock.  Momento black ink has been used to outline the butterfly, flowers and leaves.

The base cardstock is Calypso Coral to which I have adhered a layer from the Fine Art Floral DSP that has a painted brushstroke effect. This gorgeous DSP can be found in the current January - June Mini Catalogue.

The next 2 layers have been cut using Stitched So Sweetly dies in Pretty Peacock and Whisper White cardstock. I have fussy cut the floral stem and leaves and layered this on top, finishing with some Gilded Gems on the butterfly wings.

And here is the inside of the card....

The second card features the stamped butterfly that has been die cut using the Tasteful Labels set which is a very versatile set with different shaped labels and sizes.

I have also stamped the background in Smoky Slate ink. The butterfly label is layered on Pretty Peacock cardstock where I have cut the ends to create a banner and then embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder.

The next layer is from the Forever Greenery DSP adhered to Pretty Peacock and then Whisper White card bases. I have stamped the greeting with VersaMark on black cardstock sprinkled with White Stampin' emboss powder and heat embossed.

To finish I have added the trim from Forever Greenery combo pack in both Vanilla and Gold and adhered using the Mini Glue dots.

True Love DSP by Stampin' Up!

Hi everyone, this week I am showcasing the lovely True Love Designer Series Paper featuring black and white prints and patterns that can be coloured in any way you choose or just left as is.

I have fussy cut the flowers from the DSP and coloured them in using Stampin' Blends alcohol markers in light and dark colours of Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green. The highlights have been added using the blending pen. You could also use the new Stampin' Up! blending brushes from the new January-June Mini Catalogue, to add colour to floral prints or patterned backgrounds of this DSP.

The card base is Smoky Slate and layered with the reverse side from the same True Love DSP. I have added a 'frame' cutout using both the Stitched So Sweetly and Stitched Rectangles die sets in Poppy Parade cardstock and adhered to the base with dimensionals.  The sentiment is stamped with matching ink and die cut from the Floral Art bundle.  To finish off I have tied some Linen thread with bow to the frame.

If you like any of the products featured today you can purchase them through my online store or via Stampin' Up! website and enter my name in the Find a Demonstrator search box. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the week!

Sending love on Valentines Day

Let’s celebrate the day for lovers or those you love with a card made using A Touch of Ink stamp set that is a FREE Sale-a-bration item when you spend $180 or more.

First I stamped the outline of the flower image in Smokey Slate and then used Rococo Rose ink to colour the flowers themselves. This was done using the two step stamping process and the Stamparatus which makes it so easy to line up images and a very useful tool especially for this technique.

The Love sentiment was also taken from this set and stamped in Rococo Rose ink which I then fussy cut around the word.

The two panels were punched with the Rectangle Postage Stamp punch. One from the Oh So Ombré DSP which is another FREE Sale-a-bration item when you spend $90 or more in January or February. The other from Whisper White card stock that was embossed using the Greenery embossing folder.

I have cut the letters with the Playful Alphabet dies using the Oh So Ombré paper again and adhered them to the card stock with foam adhesive sheets. And to finish off I have added some Gold Glitter enamel dots. Love these as they seem to go with just about any colour combination.

Happy Valentines Day and happy crafting all!

Pretty Art Gallery bundle by Stampin' Up!

Hi all I am continuing on with the showcase of the Stampin' Up! January-June mini catalogue using the Art Gallery stamps and die cut bundle. The DSP in this range are also quite colourful especially if you are a 'floral' person like me and this bundle combines my two loves - art and flowers.

Here I have created an upright Z-fold card to create a bit of interest. The flowers were stamped in various colours: Bumblee Bee, Blackberry Bliss and Rococco Rose combinations. The greeting was stamped with VersaMark on Mossy Meadow cardstock with white embossing powder and then heat set. This greeting is from the A Touch of Ink photopolymer stamp set which is a FREE Level 2 product when you spend $180 or more.

In the second card I wanted to show some of the gorgeous Fine Art Floral DSP.  The sentiment is also from this suite including the pretty gold ribbon tied with white twine form the Snail Mail suite shown in a previous post.

Also, I have only used the word 'just' which is die cut using Whisper White cardstock. The whole greeting is 'just want to say' and you can add this to a variety of sentiments in the Art Gallery die set.

Colours stamped in the first card were taken from the DSP in the second card to show how you can match and use the same colour combinations in different ways.

Happy crafting until next time

Happy Mail with Snailed It Bundle from Stampin' Up!

Hi everyone, I haven't posted for a long while as things got quite busy at work in the lead up to Christmas and then the summer break. I am back on this week to showcase some of the sweetest bundles in the new Mini Catalogue - January to June.

I couldn't resist playing with the Snailed It stamp set and dies bundle and the soooo cute and colourful Designer Series Paper. These cards were created for a group swap that I participate in with like-minded crafters and Stampin' Up! hobbyists from around the world and I was excited to send the cards as happy mail to some of the lovely ladies in this group.

An additional promotion running from 5 January to 28 February is Sale-a-bration where you can earn FREE products
. For every $90 or $180 AUD you spend, you can choose between two purchasing levels of free products.  Watch this video to find out more. I have used the Oh So Ombre 6" X 6" (15.2 X 15.2 CM) Designer Series Paper cut out using the perforated-edge square die from the Snail Dies set.  The DSP has 4 colours and two designs, one of which is shown here.

The envelope and little note have been cut using the matching dies and I have fussy cut both the large and small snails.  There are other snail dies that cut both a stamped image or the same image found on the Snail Mail DSP which is great that Stampin' Up! have coordinated it so well.

And another reason to get more excited is for anyone wishing to join as a new Stampin’ Up! demonstrator during Sale-A-Bration, you will receive a free stack of our Regals, Subtles, Neutrals, Brights, and 2020—2022 In Color Designer Series Paper along with your Starter Kit! There couldn’t be a better time to join the Stampin’ Up! family. Email me if you need any further details about joining.

I have used Blushing Bride from the Subtles colour family DSP free stack offered when you join as a new demonstrator which has also been cut using the same square die in the Snails die set.

I am looking forward to showing a few more cards using the different products from both the January-June mini and Sale-a-bration catalogues.

 Happy crafting until next time
