Hello fellow stampers! Welcome everyone to our third week of the Heart of Christmas Stampin’ Up! blog hop for 2023! Each week until 27 November the Art With Heart team will showcase Christmas cards and projects to inspire you to create your own.
This weeks card features the Brushed Gold cards & envelopes from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! Mini catalogue that will be available for purchase from 6 September. These cards and envelopes are perfect for the festive season and would add elegance to your cards.
To the card base I have adhered die cut Deckled rectangle layers of Vellum card stock and the new Joyful specialty DSP.
The flap of the matching envelope is dry embossed using the Merry Melody 3D embossing folder to match the musical notes on the DSP.
The Father Christmas image is from the Saint Nicholas stamp and die bundle and has been stamped with VersaMark and then heat embossed with Gold embossing powder. There are two images of a traditional Santa in this stamp set. I have coloured the image using various Stampin’ Blends colours.
The sentiment is stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink and is from another new stamp set - Night Devine. To finish off my card I’ve tied some Gold Elegant trim and adhered gold Neutral sequins and Cherry Cobbler Festive Pearls.
Please head on to the next participant for more Christmas inspiration the lovely and very talented Rachel Woollard.
If at any time you find a broken link please head to the blog of our host for this week, the lovely Sharon Davern and she will have the list of all those participating.
Don’t forget to check back next week for more Christmas projects. Hope you have a fabulous week ahead!
I really like how you embossed the envelope flap, to co-ordinate with the beautiful DSP on your card, Rosa. Lovely, elegant, colour combo, and great way to show off these cards.
ReplyDeleteStunning card Rosa, your colouring is beautiful and I really like how you've added the background rectangles on an angle
ReplyDeleteI love your Saint Nick card Rosa. Saint Nicholas is gorgeous gold embossed which ties in so well with the card base, envelope and music notes. So beautiful. x

ReplyDeleteIt is so cool how you dry embossed the flap of the matching envelope with the Merry Melody 3D embossing folder to match the DSP, Rosa. What a fabulous use of these gold cards!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Rosa. Your colouring is next level and I love your choice of DSP. The way you embossed the flap on your envelope to coordinate is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteRosa, I love that you heat embossed in gold to match the card base and envelope (the dry embossing is cool too). Your DSP selection is perfect with your Father Christmas and his sack of pressies!
