Blackberry Bliss |
Hello everyone and welcome to this week’s post! It’s a big week as we say goodbye to the Stampin’ Up! January-June Mini catalogue today. There have been some popular products which have thankfully carried over to the new Annual catalogue though. And it won’t be long until the new July-December Mini catalogue is available with all the Christmas and Halloween goodies - keep an eye out for it!
This week we take a look at Blackberry Bliss for the weekly Colour Creations blog hop. A dark burgundy wine colour from the Regals colour family which I have decided to pair with another neutral Crumb Cake.
The stamp set used is Handmade for You featuring some craft sayings that would be suitable for that crafty friend in your life. The dressmakers mannequin is stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink onto a piece of Basic White that was cut with a rectangle die from the Stitched Rectangles die set.
The shadow below the mannequin is a stamp from the Friends are like Seashells stamp set and the stand was coloured in using Stampin’ Blends Dark Crumb Cake.
On the Basic White panel I have stamped the single tulip motif in Crumb Cake ink several times using the Stamparatus. The Craft Queen sentiment was stamped with Blackberry Bliss on Crumb Cake card stock and I used the Tailored Tags die to cut a shorter tag.
To the left side of the main panel I have used the Basic Borders die to cut two pieces, one in Basic White and Crumb Cake card stock. The various layers are adhered together and using dimensionals adhered to the Blackberry Bliss card base.
Of course to finish off with some sparkle I have added Gilded Gems and Opal Rounds.
For the inside of the card I have again used the border die to add interest to the Basic White base and stamps from Handmade for You and Elegantly Said for the sentiment.
I have also made a matching gift tag using the Tailored Tags die again with some ribbon and thread tied to the tag. Striped Blackberry Bliss ribbon, White twine (both retiring today) and Linen Thread. The same bling gems as the card have been added. This time the sentiment has been die cut using a die from the Tasteful Labels die set.
Thank you so much for stopping by this week and hope you enjoy the remaining blog hop and find more inspiration from the next participant Vicki Boucher.
