Heart of Christmas - Week 6

Hi everyone extending a warm welcome to this week’s Christmas inspiration from the Art With Heart Stampin’ Up! Team.

I am in love with the Whimsy & Wonder DSP which I have used in my card tonight. The colours in this pack are Polished Pink, Blushing Bride, Mossy Meadow, Mint Macaron, Misty Moonlight and Iridescent foils that make this paper shine! So not your traditional Christmas colours and very beautiful.

The card base in Blushing Bride is layered with Basic White card stock that was first stamped in Mint Macaron ink using a sentiment from the Holly Jolly Wishes stamp set. This set offers numerous different types of greetings and is so versatile. The layer has been dry embossed with Wintry 3D embossing folder.

The bells are cut using the bell-shaped cloche from the Cloche die set. I have cut it twice, once with patterned paper from Whimsy & Wonder and another on thick Basic White card stock. These were adhered with dimensionals.

Bows tied with silver Simply Elegant Trim were adhered with a glue dot and then some Holly fussy cut from the DSP was added on top. You can see the iridescent shine in the paper in the photo below!

Lastly I have added some adhesive-backed sequins from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera pack. I love these translucent sequins as under light they pick up the Blushing Bride colour.

Please head on to the next participant for more inspiration if you haven’t already done so, the very talented Judy May.

If at any time you find a broken link please head to the blog of this week’s Host of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop, Tina Gillespie, and she will have the list of all who are participating.

Hope you all have a great week ahead and I know I will be hoping (and praying) that our city will start to open up more this week. On the plus side hopefully my next BBB and order will be delivered and I’ll get to play with new products. Take care everyone xo
