Welcome fellow crafters to another Colour Creations blog hop and week 2 in the team colour challenge. We are continuing with the new Stampin’ Up! In Colours 2022-24. The colour this week is a bright and cheerful green - Parakeet Party.
The colour does remind me of a summer’s day with flowers blooming on bright green stems and that was my inspiration for this slimline card.
The stamp and die bundle used for my card tonight is Sending Smiles. The daisy flowers have been stamped with Fresh Freesia and Highland Heather inks and the stems with Parakeet Party (of course!) onto a Basic White panel. I have used Daffodil Delight ink for the flower centres. I have also stamped them onto another piece of Basic White and die cut several pieces to adhere to the card and add layers of flowers in the meadow.
The sentiment is in two parts - the beautiful scripted font for the word ‘Sending’ is stamped with Fresh Freesia ink and die cut using a matching die in this bundle and the other with Parakeet Party ink. The sentiment is adhered to an In Colour DSP layer.
The entire front panel was adhered to an embossed layer in Parakeet Party card stock. I have used the 3D Hive embossing folder. This was then adhered to the Basic White card base. Lastly I added some Brass Butterflies to the card front.

Stunning layering of flowers in your sensational slimline card, Rosa. The soft colours combination works really well with Parakeet Party too.
