For this weeks card I have used the following Stampin’ Up! products:
- So Sincere Cling stamp set
- Lifetime of Love die set (Jan-April mini catalogue)
- Garden Meadow die set (Online exclusive)
- Flight & Airy DSP (Sale-a-bration item)
The plain Basic White arch panel was something I had lying on my craft table from a previous project which I wanted to somehow use this week. I noticed that the oval floral arch from the Lifetime of Love die set sat nicely within the arch panel (die cut from the Garden Meadow die set).
I used a Blending Brush and Boho Blue and Night of Navy inks to apply colour to the arch panel. Before adhering the arch panel to the card base I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink. This sentiment is from the So Sincere cling stamp set.
The floral arch was die cut from Night of Navy card stock and adhered with glue to the coloured arch base. I have die cut some flowers using the lovely dies from the Lifetime of Love die set and Fresh Freesia card stock and Flight & Airy DSP (a watercoloured print with tones of Fresh Freesia). The floral colours match with the gorgeous little watercoloured bird that was fussy cut and adhered with dimensionals.
This DSP is a FREE item you can receive with a minimum spend on Stampin’ Up! products (AUD$90). My guess is that this DSP will sell out quickly as the prints are so pretty!
I have also adhered some Blooming Pearls to the flower centres. The pearls have a metallic shine in several different tones.
Hope you enjoy the remaining blog hop where you can find more Night of Navy inspiration from the very talented Tina Gillespie.
If you find a broken link or have come to this blog hop from a different entry point, you can view the full list of participants on Cathy Proctor’s blog.
Thank you so much for stopping by and hope you enjoy the rest of your week. Happy crafting!
Rosa, you've used the little bird from this DSP so perfectly in your gorgeous arch card. I love the colours you've chosen to blend together.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great discovery! The two dies work perfectly together. The flowers are so pretty, and the bird was a fabulous finishing touch.
ReplyDeleteRosa, this is so beautiful. The arch is gorgeous with the darker blue fading out at the bottom and then the die cut arch is so feminine & fine detailed. These papers are just divine, aren't they?!!
ReplyDeleteLovely card Rosa the bird and the arch go together so well.
ReplyDeleteThis card is oh-so-pretty, Rosa. I love Fresh Freesia with Night of Navy, and your colour balance is spot on. Stampin' Up! are so good with the complementary and co-ordinating products created for us to use - those arches/frames are a beautiful example.
