Hello fellow stampers! Welcome back to this week’s Heart of Christmas Stampin’ Up! blog hop for 2025! Each week until 24 November 2025 the Art With Heart team will showcase Christmas cards and projects to inspire you to create your own.
The Traditions of Christmas DSP is the star of this weeks two cards. As many of the blog participants have mentioned previously this DSP is beautiful! I love the colours as well as the images found in this paper,
The first card has several layers of the Christmas greenery that were die cut from the DSP using the Christmas Greenery die set, including the holly leaves. The other leafy foliage was die cut from the Season of Elegance specialty paper using the Impressions Abloom die set (currently in the Last Chance section). This foliage has Old Olive and Gold colours to coordinate with the colours in the Traditions of Christmas DSP. These were all arranged behind the centre floral piece.

The upside down arches were die cut using the Everyday Arches DSP from Old Olive and Bubble Bath card stock. I adhered the Christmas greenery bundle at the top. The sentiment was from a previous project where I embossed and die cut from Gold foil using the Christmas Words Collage EF and die set.
To finish the front of the card I adhered a die cut bow and added some Traditional Sparkling sequins.
The card inner has a DSP strip at the bottom and some Holly leaves and berries. The sentiment is stamped with Real Red ink and from the Traditional Labels stamp and die set.
The second card is much simpler, where the DSP takes centre stage! All I had to do was add another gold embossed Christmas greeting with some Gold Striped mesh ribbon and Gold & White Bakers twine. The DSP layer is adhered to Pool Party card base.
Please head on to the next participant for more Christmas inspiration the lovely and very talented Judy May.
If at any time you find a broken link please head to the blog of our host, the lovely Sharon Davern and she will have the list of all those participating.
Don’t forget to check back next Monday for more Christmas projects. Hope you have a fabulous week ahead!
Two beautiful cards Rosa. I love your layering and extra foliage on your first card and the gorgeous gold sentiments on both cards. xxx
