Welcome everyone to Week 5 and another round of Christmas creations from the team around the country. Also it’s Mini catalogue Eve! And tomorrow we get to order new products from it and I can’t wait to pick out a few more goodies to play with ❤️
I thought I would pull out a favourite….the Poinsettia dies and build a wreath using the colours in the Tidings of Christmas DSP. They are soft colours and in this card I have used Sahara Sand and Soft Succulent.
The card base is thick Basic White card stock cut 4 7/8” square to fit a 5” envelope. The next layer is Tidings of Christmas DSP to which I have adhered a Sahara Sand and Basic White double mat.
To build the wreath I have die cut several of the smallest poinsettia flowers in Sahara Sand, Soft Succulent and Basic White card stock. The white flowers were brushed with Wink of Stella to add some sparkle.
The berry branches have been cut from Sahara Sand, Soft Succulent card stock and Silver Foil Specialty paper a new product from the July - August mini catalogue. These have been arranged in a wreath and adhered with a single glue dot and with the flowers arranged using dimensionals. I have added 2021-23 In Colour Jewels in Soft Succulent to the flower centres.
The sentiment is from the new Classic Cloche stamp set which I thought was a very appropriate quote to go with the wreath that ‘never ends’. It is stamped in Soft Succulent ink.
Please head on to the next participant for more inspiration if you haven’t already done so, the very talented Vicki Boucher
If at any time you find a broken link please head to the blog of this week’s Host of the Heart of Christmas Blog Hop, Rachel Woollard, and she will have the list of all who are participating.
Thank you so much for stopping and hope you have a great week ahead. Take care everyone xo
