Hi everyone and welcome to Week 36 of the Colour Creations blog hop showcasing the Stampin’ Up! colours. This week the spotlight is on Pool Party - a light fun blue colour which can be paired with most colours in the different colour families.
The main product I have used tonight is a FREE item from the Sale-a-bration catalogue that you can receive with a qualifying purchase. It is the Friendly Hello bundle that includes a stamp set and matching DSP.
Another new product is the All Together Now DSP. Each double sided paper has different black and white patterns. I have adhered the DSP layer to the Basic Black card base.
Then using the Friendly Hello DSP with Pool Party I adhered it to a square Basic Black mat. I have added some Black Matt dots to the flower centres and some bows tied with Black and White Gingham ribbon coloured with Dark Pool Party Stampin’ blend.
The sentiment on the front card is from the Friendly Hello stamp set and I’ve stamped with Memento Black ink onto Pool Party card stock. I have fussy cut the sentiment before adhering to some Basic Black card stock and fussy cut again to create a shadow effect.
The inside of my card has a Friendly Hello DSP base layered with a Basic White panel that has been stamped with flowers from the Friendly Hello stamp set in Pool Party ink. The sentiment from the same stamp set is stamped with Memento Black onto Pool Party card stock. I have die cut the sentiment using Tasteful Labels die set.
Hope you enjoy the remaining blog hop where you can find more inspiration from the next participant the very talented, Michele Taylor

What a great combination of DSPs on your card, Rosa. They all look fantastic together, as does your coloured ribbon.
ReplyDeleteSo much to love about this card, Rosa! You've used my favourite SAB products beautifully. The background paper is striking, and looks beautiful with the floral/bird DSP. Loving those little gingham bows, too!
