Hello fellow stampers! Welcome to week 5 of the Heart of Christmas Stampin’ Up! blog hop for 2023! Each week until 27 November the Art With Heart team will showcase Christmas cards and projects to inspire you to create your own.
The new Stampin’ Up! September - December mini catalogue will be available this Wednesday, 6th September so keep an eye out for some exciting new products. This week I got a bit excited playing with the Stars At Night stamp and die bundle and ended up creating three cards!
My first card is a Very Vanilla card base with a layer of Shining Brightly DSP.
The Stars At Night hybrid embossing folder has been used with Very Vanilla card stock. The hybrid embossing folder allows you to die cut and emboss three of the largest stars at the same time. Brilliant! I have also used the More Dazzle specialty paper.
The sentiment has been heat embossed with Gold embossing powder. The stamp set used is Night Divine.
My next two cards are very similar in that the card base is Basic White card stock to which I have adhered a dry embossed layer of Luster Specialty paper in Pebbled Path using the Stars At Night hybrid embossing folder.
In addition I die cut extra star pieces and so then all I had to do was layer and arrange them. So many combinations of colour and paper can be used here. Of course I had to use the More Dazzle specialty paper in the layers to create my sparkly stars.
The sentiment from the Night Divine stamp set has been stamped using Moody Mauve ink. I adhered some 2023-25 In Colour Dots in Moody Mauve and Pebbled Path.
The next card looks similar but I just wanted to show how you can get different looking stars by layering different colours and papers.
Please head on to the next participant for more Christmas inspiration our lovely host and very talented Sharon Davern. If you come across a broken link she will also have the full list of participants.
Wishing everyone a happy week ahead xo
Wow, that Lustre Paper in Pebbled Path is really eye-catching, Rosa. I love your "out of the box" colour choices, that make for really elegant Christmas cards. The Very Vanilla and Gold card is equally beautiful. You've used these products so nicely!
