Hello everyone back again tonight joining the AWH team Colour Creations blog hop. And this weeks colour is Just Jade! One of the 2020-22 In Colour collection and a green that I really like as it’s darker than Mint Macaron but different to Soft Succulent.
For my card I have used the stamps and dies from the Artistically Inked bundle and the Expressions in Ink DSP which is just stunning having the gold veins running through the water-coloured sections.
The DSP mat is adhered to Just Jade card stock base and the die cut floral piece adhered on top with TomBow adhesive glue. This layer was actually die cut from the same DSP but the reverse side that contains Just Jade and Evening Evergreen colours.
The birthday greeting is heat embossed onto Vellum with gold embossing powder and punched out using the Lovely Labels punch. I have also added gold leaves that were die cut. Some Gilded Gems were added to finish off the card.
If you find a broken link or have come to this blog hop from a different entry point, you can view the full list of participants on Cathy Proctor’s blog.
So clever to use the reverse side of the same DSP for your die cut piece, Rosa - this card looks amazing1
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Rosa ... those greens are all scrumptious! I love the look of the die-cut floral piece, with the variations in colour. Gorgeous way to showcase Just Jade.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Rosa. I love the gold die cut leaves to pick up the veins of gold in the stunning DSP. Beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Rosa, I love the Embossed sentiment on Vellum. It really has that wow factor.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely card Rosa and what a great idea to use the reverse side of the DSP
ReplyDeleteI just love how effective this DSP looks on your lovely card Rosa. Using the reverse pattern for the floral image and embossing the sentiment onto vellum are great added details.
ReplyDeleteGreat minds think alike Rosa. Love this paper and love how you have used it on your beautiful card.
